We are a widely recognized engineering service provider for high-end electronics and embedded software development in many future-proof application domains like medical devices, aerospace, automotive, industrial automation and transport systems. This comprises lots of challenging tasks around sensors, IoT, robotics, computer vision, connectivity and communications technologies.

We are proud of our credible and well-established international teams and would like to grow our company with junior as well as experienced electronics hardware engineers at our Munich location.

You should cover several of the following competencies:

  • Proficient in electronics development (from scratch or starting with a given design spec)
  • Ability to create appropriate hardware architectures that fulfil given design targets like performance, cost, quality and/or scalability
  • Experience primarily with digital designs, however, some understanding of analog design portions like power supplies, I/O Interfaces, A/D converters, high speed interfaces, etc.
  • Working experience with tooling for schematic entry, PCB simulation and layout, e.g., SPICE, Altium, KiCAD, Mentor PADS, Xpedition
  • Experience in the development, verification and test of functional blocks (primarily digital) under consideration of EMC, signal/power integrity and thermal aspects
  • Experience with concept and requirements work in at least one of the above listed application domains like medical, aerospace or automotive
  • Overview about connectivity protocols and solutions (incl. available chipsets)
  • Knowledge of commonly used interfaces (e.g., PCIe, UART, I2C, USB, SPI, SDIO)
  • Integration of sensors and actuators into the design
  • Ability and motivation to work with distributed international teams
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English or German

Additional expertise in one or more of the following topics is a plus:

  • Deeper knowledge of wireless and IoT solutions
  • Specific design expertise like analog design, power electronics, power supplies
  • Competence in performing feasibility studies and tradeoff analysis between solutions based on microcontroller, DSP or FPGA technologies
  • FPGA design (VHDL coding, FPGA design flow like simulation, synthesis and technology mapping) for different technologies and suppliers like AMD(Xilinx), Lattice, IntelPSG(Altera); also experience with soft/hard controller IP like Microblaze, Zync SoC
  • Basic understanding of domain-specific quality and safety-critical standards like ISO 13485 or ISO 26262

Our development projects generally take place in small to medium sized international teams. We are dedicated to follow high standards in functional safety and quality assurance according to the latest development and industry norms.

Our projects are primarily based at our headquarters in Munich or at our subsidiary in Toronto, Canada. We are also offering to work for a limited period of time out of any of our premises in Munich, Toronto or Bucharest. Temporary deployments within the EU and the US are also possible, if adequate.
